I think the actual user administration / adminstration panel in general needs more work. Deleting a user from a group is essential, but the question is should that also delete all their contributions? I would probably argue “no” but if they are a mischief maker then maybe it’s “yes”?

I have a user who is getting email alerts from a group he is not interested in.. so he went in and unchecked all the alert selections in user settings but the emails are still sent to him..
this issue is I guess related to the need for admins to delete users from a group all together ( as discussed elsewhere..) IMO there are number of related needs in this area..
1) email alert opt-out by user
2) various default email alert settings by admin
3) delete users from group by admin
