type to search

Tags not autocompleting

Asked by , Edited by jpatokal

Installed Shapado this morning straight off the repo. Tags work beautifully as I tried to type in my first question — but then I got a pop up requiring that I login. I did, via Google, and then when I rewrote the question, tags no longer worked: every letter I type just returns “No results”, even when there is definitely a matching tag.

And it looks like I’m getting precisely the same behavior right here on shapado.com as I type in this question. Retagging after I post doesn’t work either. Fail?

Found it: the code is, for some completely incomprehensible reason, not autocompleting unless you have more tags than the limit (10). Swapping the “>” to a “<” fixed the problem. How did this break in the first place? (o_O)

Set up Shapado today directly off the repo. Labels perform magnificently as I tried to kind in my first query — but then I got a pop up demanding that I sign in. I did, via Search engines, and then when I rewrote the query, tags no more worked: every page I kind just profits “No results”, even when there is definitely a related tag.
